Efstathios Stavrakis is a post-doctoral researcher currently with the University of Cyprus. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Vienna University of Technology (Austria) and has studied for an MSc. in Computer-Aided Graphical Technology Application and a BA (Hons) in Creative Visualisation at the University of Teesside (UK). He has conducted and published research at the intersection of computer graphics and vision, non-photorealistic rendering, eye-tracking and psychophysics, as well as 3D audio rendering for VEs. He brings a wealth of experience in graphical algorithms, interface design and software development. Previously, he has held posts at the Technical University of Vienna (Austria), at INRIA Sophia Antipolis – Méditerranée (France) and the Glasgow School of Art (UK).

Yiorgos is an associate professor at the Computer Science Department of the University of Cyprus where he is also heading the Computer Graphics Lab. He received is PhD in 1996 from Queen Mary and Westfield College, University of London, under the supervision of Mel Slater. He then worked as a research fellow (1996-1998) and a lecturer (1998-2001) at University College London, where he was a member of the Computer Graphics and Virtual Environments group. His current research interests are in the broader area of Computer Graphics and include real-time rendering, visibility, crowd rendering and simulation, virtual and augmented reality and applications to cultural heritage.

DavidSteiner

David Steiner studied theoretical physics until 24, then started working as an assistant director, then an executive producer. At Chamaerops Productions, he produced about 20 tv ads and was in charge of the international development of the company. He wrote and co-directed the award-winning “Stereo 3D Filmmaking: The Complete Interactive Course”, and is now a partner at Parallell Cinéma, which won two awards at Dimension 3 2011, one at Dimension 3 2010, and provide stereoscopic services for David Guetta’s Zénith concerts, Salle Pleyel’s concerts, Canal+ etc.

Cedric-Alexandre Saudinos

Cédric-Alexandre Saudinos is a producer, director and stereographer. He’s one of the associates of Parallell Cinema, a Paris-based S3D production company.
After a Master’s Degree in Philosophy at La Sorbonne University, Cédric-Alexandre Saudinos joins Chamaerops Productions.
He directed or produced a dozen documentaries, about forty TV-ads, numerous corporate films, a weekly show for France 3 and a monthly show for Cinaps TV.

Todd_Margolis

Todd Margolis is a transmedia producer of interactive artworks. He is currently the Technical Director of the Center for Research in Computing and the Arts (CRCA) at UCSD.
Margolis’ current research investigating social and cultural relationships to emerging media draws on over a decade of experience creating tele-collaborative immersive and interactive artworks and systems. He has published multiple papers on mixed reality artworks & systems and lectured on new media both nationally and internationally. His work has been shown in museums, festivals and galleries globally. He serves on the boards of several non-profit and academic organizations in the US and UK which focus on immersive and interactive art and technology.
