Daniel Teruggi – France

Daniel Teruggi, composer and researcher, has worked since 1981 in the “Institut National de l’Audiovisuel” (INA) in France as part of the GRM (Musical Research Group, founded by Pierre Schaeffer in 1958). He has been the Director of the GRM since 1997 as well as director or the Research Department in INA since 2001. Since 2008, Daniel is co-directing INA Sup, a department dedicated to audiovisual and multimedia education, training and research.

In recent years, he has been actively working on the preservation of audiovisual collections and particularly electro-acoustic music. He has been the coordinator of the European co-funded project PrestoSpace? and is currently coordinator of the European project PrestoPRIME? . Daniel represents INA in the board of the Europeana Foundation.
